There are four convenient highways that run through Burlingame; the most popular are Highway 101 and Highway 82, which is known as El Camino Real. Highway 35 runs through Burlingame and connects with the Interstate 280.

There are vast opportunities to take advantage of the gorgeous weather with outdoor activities such as hiking or biking. Many Burlingame residents love to bike and hike the trails of Mills Creek Canyon Park, which is located on Adeline and Hillside. Washington Park, at 850 Burlingame Avenue, offers kids a sandpit, tennis and basketball courts.

The ArtzFest Jazz Festival takes place in Burlingame every August on Burlingame Avenue. This festival is the result of the Burlingame Art and Jazz Festival collaborating. Several award-winning artists travel from all over the world to perform here. The festival runs for two days and provides entertainment for the entire family.

The City of Burlingame is not only a beautiful place to live, it is also a wonderful area to own and operate your own business. Burlingame’s City Council says it is genuinely devoted to helping, supporting and guiding local business owners. The city has  Economic Development Specialists who support new and existing Burlingame businesses in all of their ventures. The shopping districts of Broadway and Burlingame Avenue allow several opportunities for business owners to be successful.
